Since I was the only one in the house that drank american coffee I bought myself a single serving coffee maker by Black and Decker. -I always buy Starbucks brand coffee at the supermarket (with coupons and when it’s on sale = comes out to about $5 a bag) but you can also get it and the syrups directly from their website, Starbucks Store. *You can also find a ton of Starbucks recipes here (kinda strange, a whole site just for Starbucks knockoff recipes. But over time it sure can add up. Ever since I read the Automatic Millionaire by David Bach years ago, I stopped drinking coffee at Starbucks (well except for the rare occasion, when I find myself far from home and desperately needing a... It’s easy all you need is:. A coffee maker or epresso machine. Starbucks coffee. In his book he talks about the ‘latte factor’, where how if you eliminate your daily $5 cup of coffee and invest it, you’ll be a millionaire by the time you retire. -And don’t think you have to get a fancy espresso machine, all you need is a simple old-fashioned stove top espresso maker and a hand-held frother. *Also, little known fact: if you bring in the empty bag within one month after the expiration date they give you a free tall regular coffee (you can get it hot or iced and with milk). *And for you gardeners: they give away used coffee grounds, they put them out in little bags, they go quick though. Another $3 saved, so my bag of coffee only costs me $2. It’s funny, but I much prefer the coffee I make at home. So, I still drink Starbucks everyday, I just make it at home. Plus I enjoy my coffee for pennies a cup.
