I would put a coffee cup with about 1/4 cup cinnamon and the rest water – leave about an inch from the rim of the cup. I’d probably put in a big bowl of water and then run the micro for about 5 minutes… the boiling water may absorb some of the smell…. I wouldn’t boil plain vinegar, but add some cinnamon or cloves, or lemon juice to vinegar. The vinegar will still absorb odors, but your microwave won’t smell like Heinz. no you want to cook an egg in the microwave for 2 min and that should take care of your problem. NEVER PUT A WHOLE EGG IN THE MICROWAVE. Can I boil some vinegar in the microwave.
